New music teaching studio for Brighouse

We are incredibly proud to announce the opening of our new teaching studio in the heart of Brighouse town centre, above Page. Book and Gift Shop at 48 Park Street, Brighouse, HD6 1JL

*We are holding 1:1 lessons only until restrictions lift even further - we will review this after October half term*

We opened up on a very sunny Saturday 1 August... Yorkshire Day, no less, which made the occasion even more special.

We had a number of people come in and have a look around our new premises, try out our instruments (which were cleaned between visits) and sign up to music lessons. The amount of positive feedback we've received has been humbling - thank you ever so much to everyone who came to see us and said such great things about everything we've setting up here in Brighouse.

Missed our Open Day?

Just email us to arrange your tour, ask us your questions and discuss signing up for music lessons.

Who we are

We are a family-run business with a love for all things music. It inspires everything that we are about and nothing excites us more than the opportunity to share music with others

We do this in three main ways:

HM:Teach

As fully-qualified and experienced teachers - both in classroom-based curriculum music and instrumental teaching with numerous schools and music services across the north of England - we are truly passionate about learning. We offer lessons on a wide range of instruments, as well as music theory lessons and support for exam preparation.

For more info on these services, click here.

HM:Play

With a wealth of gigging, touring and recording experience between us, playing music is something we love to do, both for fun and professionally.

HM:Create

We are both keen composers, arrangers and songwriters. We work professionally and reliably in all of these areas, in addition to some fun new ventures. Follow @KaraJaneSings on social media channels to hear our most recent collaboration project. Her new album ‘It’s Still M.E.’ was written from her bed where she spent two years recording the vocals in her short windows of good energy. She suffers from #SevereME and her album will raise funds for the tissue bank research led by the M.E. Association. It was released on Saturday 8 August and reached #1 in the Amazon Music album chart and peaked at #17 in the iTunes album chart this week. Harding Music arranged, performed and recorded the strings for the debut single from the album, ‘Baby Breathe’. Go to www.karajanesings.com to buy the single and album and help support essential research into this devastating condition.
